MacLow and Zukofsky

Two important new books have recently been added to the Library:

Jackson MacLow. Thing of Beauty. New and Selected Works. (University of California Press, 2008)
Contains examples and sampling from all the various years and types of work MacLow produced.
Essential reading for anyone interested in the avant-garde or conceptual poetry. And a very nicely
produced book.

Mark Scroggins. The Poem of a Life. A Biography of Louis Zukofsky (Shoemaker Hoard, 2008).
A smart piece of work, which is as much a biography of Zukofsky's work as it is his life. Well researched and clearly presented.
